​I’m Riah (they/them),​ a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and designer - creating beauty, writing observations, and finding my way in this chaotic world. I studied as an engineer and started my career as a Drafter/Designer, which means my brain is half schematic, half poem. I learned early on that good design is about trying, listening, and iterating. Now I apply that same design process to everything I make. Every piece is an experiment in understanding myself and making the world softer and more colorful. I’ve spent many years in the Bay Area and consider it home. Originally from Austin, Texas, I'm still likely to refer to most groups as y'all. When I’m not covered in paint or rearranging my planner, you’ll probably find me wandering through a new city, reading dystopian novels, or daydreaming about my next tattoo.​​ My artistic goals: 1. To spread happiness, understanding, and love through art that is honest and human. 2. To create work that makes queer folks and sensitive people feel seen, not alone. 3. To invite play, curiosity, and yes, occasionally a little sexiness, into everyday life—through paintings, stickers, journal pages, and whatever I make next.
